Unite-X (former iB&X) wins the DSM Indirect Best Overall Supplier Award

April 14th, 2021, Netherlands – During DSM’s Material Cluster Supplier Day 2021, Royal DSM awarded seven key strategic suppliers on different topics. For their impact on global safety and efficiency Unite-X (former iB&X) was honored with the Indirect Best Overall Supplier Award.

During COVID-19 times it is crucial to keep safety a priority while companies cooperate in a strong partnership. While various restrictions made traveling and in-site work impossible, both parties have been able to successfully roll out a global safety solution without any infections within the implementation teams.

Royal DSM organized their annual Supplier Days on April 13th and 14th.
Key suppliers from all over the world were gathered at the virtual venue, to gain awareness of the company’s strategy and vision, discussing topics like climate, resources, and sustainability.

At the end of day two, on April 14th, the award ceremony was presented, a moment of recognition and appreciation of carefully selected partners. Seven awards were distributed, each representing a subject of value. Topics varied from sustainability to peoples’ safety.

Unite-X, an Operational Safety Excellence partner specialized in maximizing safety while creating operational excellence, was the award winner in the category of Indirect Best Overall Supplier Award selected by DSM.

DSM emphasized that thanks to a partnership with Unite-X, not only their global safety levels have improved significantly, but also operational efficiency has been optimized while costs sustainably decreased.

DSM stated:

“Improving safety in our way of working while at the same time working according to a sustainable cost-saving way is important.
The technical support provided last year, led to the implementation of a standardized digital work permitting tool and procedures as well. This secured a safe working environment for our own people and for our contractors’ employees, while at the same time optimizing the work and the planning process AND reducing costs.”

Other suppliers awarded in various other categories were SABIC, Cabot Corporation, Proske, Kuibyshevazot (kazt), Jushi Group, and LANXESS.
